The Anritsu MS2037C is Anritsu’s mid-tier model of the the MS202xC/3xC family, offering Vector Network Analyzer frequency coverage from 5 kHz to 15 GHz PLUS a Spectrum Analyzer covering 9 kHz to 15 GHz. The VNA Master MS2037C offers a high-performance spectrum analyzer with ultra-low noise floor. Based on Anritsu’s industry-leading handheld platform, the VNA Master MS2037C offers unmatched measurement capabilities and precision; reducing the number of different tools needed to analyze modern communication systems on land, sea, air and in space.

The Anritsu VNA Master MS2037C is the industry’s highest performance, handheld solution for 2-port, 2-path measurements, anytime, anywhere. It specifically addresses complex coaxial or waveguide measurement needs in the field with accurate, vector corrected 2-port magnitude, phase, and standard Distance-To-Fault measurements (requires firmware V1.16 or higher). The VNA Master MS2037C covers a frequency band from 5 kHz to 15 GHz, which contains a wide variety of radio frequency communications systems.

Equally impressive, this measurement tool offers the industry’s first 12-term error correction algorithm in a handheld VNA. With a typical measurement speed of 350 µsec per point, this is ideally suited for tuning filters in the field, where multiple S-parameters often interact during tuning. Using a 3-receiver architecture, the MS2037C can measure and display all 4 S-parameters at once with a single connection to the DUT.

RF engineers and technicians in the field provide installation and maintenance support for aerospace, defense, and general purpose communication systems around the world. The MS2037C VNA Master + Spectrum Analyzer adds a powerful spectrum diagnostic capability in the field to the already powerful MS2027C VNA Master! Don’t let the small footprint fool you; this combined instrument powerhouse offers performance and features that rival bench-top alternatives for simplifying spectrum monitoring, interference analysis, and other general purpose signal measurements in the field. The Spectrum Analyzer features up to 10 MHz RBW, and Burst Detect™ sweep mode that allows intermittent signals as short as 200 µS to be positively identified each and every time.

The VNA Master offers broad spectrum analysis frequency coverage, impressive dynamic range, and excellent phase noise performance from 9 kHz to 15 GHz. Now available with Coverage Mapping option (Option 0431) that simplifies the task of validating the power and quality of your signal coverage area, whether indoors or outdoors. Outdoor Coverage Mapping using the available internal GPS option provides accurate GPS location stamped data that allows users to easily find problem areas where signal strength is poor, users can easily compare actual measured results to theoretical predicted models, and optimize their coverage accordingly.

The new PIM Hunting mode in the Spectrum Analyzer is used for locating external IM products in conjunction with the MW82119B PIM Master.

The VNA Master + Spectrum Analyzer includes many one-button standard measurement sequences, including field strength, occupied bandwidth, channel power, adjacent channel power ratio, and carrier to interference (C/I) ratio. In addition, the built-in AM/FM/SSB demodulator simplifies the task of identifying interfering signals. Overall, the VNA Master + Spectrum Analyzer is a powerful handheld tool for general purpose spectrum analysis anywhere, anytime. Option 0025, Interference Analyzer is a very powerful tool which is extremely useful when troublesome interferers are causing problems you’re your communications system. With the Interference Analyzer option users can quickly and easily locate the source of interferer(s) and remedy the problem efficiently. Add the InterferenceHunter™ MA2700A accessory and you now have a complete and powerful tool that will help you in the final stages of tracking down the precise location of the interferer using GPS triangulation and detailed on-screen maps.
