The 7803c Low Profile PCI serial interface provides eight RS-232 serial ports capable of data rates up to 230.4 Kbps from a single PCI slot. Each RS-232 port implements all modem control signals for maximum compatibility with a wide range of serial peripherals. The 7803c utilizes eight, independent, enhanced 16550 compatible UARTs that provide 256-byte Tx/Rx FIFOs allowing the adapter to support a wide range of non-standard baud rates. These features make the 7803c ideal for data-intensive applications that require reliable, fast throughput rates. The 7803c card can work in tough environments with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C (32°F to 158°F). The 7803c is PCI Local Bus v3.0 Compliant.

The Sealevel SeaCOM software driver and utilities make installation and operation easy using Microsoft Windows operating systems.

The board includes your choice of 36-inch spider-cable that terminates to eight DB25M (CA202) or DB9M (CA231) connectors.
